German Eye Clinic was opened on june 2005, and it's dedicated to apply most advanced methods, according to German and European standards, for treating eye diseases.
German Eye Clinic is the first eye clinic in Kosova and region that started to apply advance surgical methods as: laser treatment for refractive errors (july 2005, pars plana vitrectomy (september 2005), 25G Vitrectomy (november 2008), advance glaucoma interventions (viscocanalostomy - july 2009), and other sophisticated surgical interventions, which can perform very little number of clinic not only in region but also in western countries.
Our clinic cares also about the education of our patients. Thus, until now we have organized two public information meetings, about various eye diseases. Our clinic organized also two professional scientific meetings, one in 2008 and one 2010, participated about 150 eye doctors from our country, region and western countries. During these symposiums, the doctors from our clinic performed live surgeries from our clinic, where other participants in the symposium had the chance to see most advanced surgical methods and had the chance to actively take part in the discussions about the surgical methods.
